Risk Factors for Sleep
There are several risk factors for sleep apnea, including having
a large neck size, being male, and being overweight. If you have a history of
difficulty breathing while sleeping or a family history of sleep apnea
diagnoses, you may also be at risk. Sinus issues, gastroesophageal reflux
disease (GERD), and any other type of nasal obstruction can increase your risk
of sleep apnea.
